Welcome to The Bamboo Bobbin! 

 I am so grateful you are here to share my love of embroidery, curated design, and all things timeless! 

 

Why "The Bamboo Bobbin"? Bamboo is a prevalent element in southern home decor. It is a way of life because of its timeless class and beauty. Bamboo has stood the test of time and is a staple in any southern grandmillenial home. As a sincere lover of bamboo, this only felt fitting when curating my business name. 

 Bobbin is a little deeper. Bobbin is defined as a spool holding thread used in machine sewing that assists the upper thread by holding seams together. When I started out, I began researching everything I could about the inner workings of the embroidery machine. I was fascinated to learn that bobbin thread is vital to the success of an embroidery design, but is never seen. Top thread (the colors you see in embroidered pieces) cannot pull through correctly without the bobbin working underneath. How true this is for my everyday life. Every family member and friend God has given me is like bobbin thread, behind the scenes lifting me up to be the best version of myself. I fell in love with this concept and the deeper meaning it had for me and thus became The Bamboo Bobbin.

I believe embroidery has told a story for hundreds of years, and I am honored to take this craft forward. Whether you are embroidering for a birthday, a holiday, or a precious new baby on the way, I am honored you selected The Bamboo Bobbin. My goal is to provide timeless, curated designs that your family will cherish for years to come.  

 

When I am not stitching for your precious family, I can be found loving on my own! I am a proud American Military spouse and mom to one son named Ellis. We have two springer spaniels named Remi and Rosie and currently reside in beautiful Rhode Island!
